Budget Insurance ran a competition on East Coast Radio and Metro FM, from 25 January to 25 February 2022. People could enter the competition on the Budget, East Coast Radio and Metro FM websites. The ad stated that Budget had R350 000 to help people ‘blast their bills’. The radio stations selected an entrant and called them to participate. Participants could get their monthly bills “blasted” and receive an extra R1 000.
